To get readers for your blog the main task you have is simply to share the posts that you write. Personally I have gained a lot of readers just by adding my blog post links to various traffic sites. Blog posts can get a lot of attention on sites like this because they are very different to the other things being promoted on there.
The first traffic sites I ALWAYS use for a promotion are Hungry for Hits and Infinity Traffic Boost.
These were the first 2 sites that I worked on upgrading (by doing paid ad clicks, surveys and offers). I now have over 100 ad slots on these sites due to my upgrades and those give me a huge amount of views of my blog posts. The ads run 24/7 for me and gain me new readers on a daily basis.
How To Add A Blog Post Link To A Traffic Site
The first thing you will need to do is to make sure your blog post has an https link like this:
If you do not have the https link and have http instead you will not be able to add your link to traffic sites.
If you are using Global Domains International like I am then go to the WORDPRESS section by clicking the button shown below in your back office menu:
On the PLUGIN Page click on the options menu beside your blog address and click on ENABLE SSL. When it is turned on you will see DISABLE SSL as shown in the image below:
When you have done this your blog address will have the https setting required to share your blog on traffic sites.
Adding Your Blog Link To Hungry For Hits
You can of course use any traffic site you want, but Hungry for Hits is a very busy traffic site and will get your blog seen by thousands of people who are all interested in working online.
To add your blog post link to this site click on ADVERTISING tab, then MY ADS, then WEBSITES:
There is a simple form for you to add your link to this site:
I recommend setting the Max Hits option to 10 or 20 to avoid burning through ad credits really fast. This spreads out the views of your site across several hours so you tend to get a lot more unique hits this way.
After adding your site link, click on the ADD WEBSITE button and the site test will check your link is ok to be viewed. After the site link has passed the test you simply need to allocate ad credits so it will be seen by others:
I tend to allocate 1000 ad credits at a time to my blog post links – this will last for a couple of days. If you want your ad credits to last for longer then reduce the max hits per hour number.
After adding your blog post to traffic sites like Hungry for Hits you just need to keep adding ad credits for it to run and be seen by other site users. You can surf for ad credits or you can pay for them.
NOTE: It is MUCH more effective to earn some cash using a paid ad click site and use funds to pay for traffic. It will take up a lot less time for you to do that and you will also get a lot more ad views too.
I use the following ad click sites to earn funds for this purpose:
