Using Social Media For Team Building

Social Media is a great tool to use to help you build a team for any program, however it is important that you learn how to use it effectively. For example it is not enough to just share a link to a site and hope people join. In fact doing that will result in your posts being limited on sites like Facebook. Posts that just share a link are often marked as spam so this is a practice that you should avoid.

What you need to do instead is learn how to drip feed information that builds interest over time. Today I will guide you on how to do that. I will focus on how to use Facebook as that is the platform I use, but the information can be used on any social media site.

The first thing you need to learn is how to build an audience of people who are interested in working online. This is quite easy when you know how to do it.

Step 1

You will be using your personal profile to achieve this so if you do not want to share online earning posts on your current profile then you can make a second “work online” profile. That does not mean you won’t share any personal information on it – you need to include some regular life updates in your posts too. It is important that your audience see you as a person and get to know more about you.

Step 2

When you have a profile you are happy to use to attract a work online audience you can begin working on the drip feed technique. To do this effectively you need to start posting updates about your progress toward a specfic goal on a regular basis.

You could begin for example by posting things that explain your current goal. This is a post that I used recently to talk about a goal I am working on right now:

It is always a good idea to include questions in your post to help encourage engagement on your posts. Facebook monitors how engaging your posts are and will allow more people to see your posts when they are getting comments and likes.

That reminds me it is important that your social media profile is kept open to allow posts to be seen publically. Do that in the privacy settings – you can also make an individual post public:

After you add a post like this then you can use it to start bringing in followers and friend requests. To do that you can use the share feature to add your post into a few work online groups that allow for sharing of your posts. To find groups like that simply search for “work online” or “make money” etc using the search Facebook feature:

You can search for specific countries too like “work online in India” “make money in US”

In the search results menu you can choose to view groups (and pages is a good option to use as well).

You can also search for specific groups or pages for a site or earning method – “Timebucks” or “coinpayu” or “earn with surveys” or “affiliate marketing”

Searches like this will give you a list of many hundreds of groups on Facebook:

I would choose a few quite large groups to join (just 2 or 3 is enough to join at one time – don’t join too many at once or again your profile can get limited by Facebook) and try to find at least 1 local to you group. Make sure that the groups you choose allow for general posts by members and are not just for the admin to use.

When you have joined a couple of groups simply share your post into that group by using the share button under your post, then choose share to group in the menu:

When you use this method you are likely to start getting followers and friend requests quite quickly which is what you want to happen. Accept friend requests and return the follows to start building your audience with people interested in working from home….. Be warned you may get some unwanted attention so be prepared to block people who send you messages declaring their love or asking for money!!

After you have posted about a goal that you are working on it is time to start sharing progress posts.

Here is a progress post that I just shared a few moments ago:

I want you to notice specifically how I DO NOT say anything to try to get people to join (join me today, or you can do it too etc etc). Instead I focus on MY experience. It is saying that I find this easy!

I can guarantee that this post will result in at least 1 person asking me for information. When they do ask THAT is when to share a referral link for the site I want to build. In this case CoinPayU <<<Click link to join.

In fact I can see a few requests have already started coming in just while I was writing this post:

If I want to get more responses from this post I will share it in about 3 or 4 work online groups. That will likely get me more follows likes and comments which continues to build my audience as well as getting people specifically asking for the info about this site.

By using this method you are setting the foundations for future success because you are building a contact list of people who are interested in what you are working on. This is the SAME principle used by professional marketers who share lead capture pages on traffic sites.

The more you work on using these methods the more success you will have in building a team…… Focus on building that contact list FIRST and getting referrals becomes a lot easier.

I have already reached 88 referrals on CoinPayU because I have taken the time to build a large and active contact list:

So far I have earned just over $11 from those referrals on CoinPayU and every day I earn a little more. I will soon reach 100 referrals, then 150, 200, 500 and on to 1000+ when I KEEP working on this method. That requires I continue to use CoinPayU each day myself so I can share my progress.

Of course I ALSO share my progress in blog posts like this one.
