Getting more active referrals for your online program will help you to make more money. This industry is based on a system of reward for promoting to others, so focus on learning how to get referrals and you will succeed online!
Sadly this industry also makes it quite hard for those who do not have the best marketing skills to get those active referrals. A lack of success in this area tends to make earning online a lot harder too, so today I want to help make it easier if I can.
The more you learn about promoting the more reward you will get. Focus on learning and not trying to make money and you will soon see success.
Why Listen To Me?
Not only have I worked online for many years already, I started off being TERRIBLE at getting referrals myself. I just couldn’t do it at all……
I was just awful at this whole trying to be pushy thing, and don’t get me started on the torturing friends to join part. I absolutely HATED all that.
When I learned to STOP listening to people who said things like “learn to challenge the no’s” and I spent the time learning more about actual marketing skills, THAT is when I saw a HUGE improvement.
Now I can get referrals in large numbers….. like this:
My downline growth shows not only am I getting referrals myself, but my referrals are ALSO getting referrals.
In other words what I am teaching doesn’t just work for me.
How Do I Do It?
For my own referral system I use a 3 part approach:
- I write blog posts
- I build my email list
- I use Facebook groups that I create myself.
To help others with getting referrals I will teach as much as I can about how to use these 3 different methods (which actually combine to make one very effective approach).
Today I want to focus on the first option and provide a bit more detail. I will be going into a lot of detail on each part of my system over the next few weeks.

After you have started your blog then you need to think about what to write in your blog posts. To help you with this let me explain a bit more about the referral process itself. This can be divided up into 3 different topics:
Awareness
Motivation
Reminder
Lets look at each in detail:
Awareness About Program
It seems obvious that someone needs to know that a program exists before they can decide to join it. You can easily write a blog post that helps with this. For example you could use any of the following types of post:
I Discovered
Introducing….
My Planning
Each of these types of post can be written in a kind of series. This is the best kind of system to use in a blog as it creates interest and followers. People become interested in what you are saying and want to know the next part!
Starting with the I discovered option, you are talking about a site that you have found. This allows you to talk about the site from YOUR perspective. How did you find it? What reason did you join it? What is the best part of the site for YOU. Why do you enjoy using it? This is an excellent way to start and you simply write about your own experiences within the first few days.
When you use the Introducing post you are talking about the site from the perspective of your reader. What can the site provide to THEM? Why do you think it is a good site for THEM to look at? What can it do? What are the features? How do they use it? You can see how this is a great follow up post. It focuses on sharing your knowledge about the site AFTER you have used it for a while. It focuses on TEACHING others how to use it.
When you change your blog post perspective again to focus on the planning part, you explain how YOU are going to use the site. You talk about what you want to achieve and explain how this site will help you to move forward with your goals. You can include in this post information about what other people can achieve with it as well.

Motivation To Join
Although the style of blog posts I just spoke about can help with providing some motivation to join for your readers, there are some very specific type of posts that increase motivation levels:
Proof of Earnings
Proof of Payments
Ease of Use
Basically everyone who works online wants to know that the site actually works and pays. They also need to know if it is possible for them to use it as well. The more clear you can make the “How To Use” part the easier it becomes for others to understand if the site is one they could use themselves.
I will of course be writing posts about these topics as well using Unlimited Mail Profits. I want to show you exactly what I would do to promote this site. In fact I will take this even further and provide a specific routine that you can follow too. I want to walk you through the entire process step by step.
Reminders
In this extremely busy and distracting world of online marketing, the reminder posts are crutial to gaining ACTIVE referrals. It is very common for someone to join a site and promptly forget about it….. It is your job to remind those who have joined already to actually use it. You need to keep the site in their mind.
The easiest way to do this is to publish update posts on a regular basis. Add updates about YOUR progress toward your own goals. Make the goals small enough so you can reach them in a timely manner, but also show how you plan to continue to move forward.
Progress posts are also highly motivating for others to read. Especially if you are getting results they are not getting. Try to make other people see that a site they joined already is actually worth using.
